(Consett Lane, The Grove, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 20/04/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic fromproceeding on 360 metres of Consett Lane, The Grove, Consett, from the junction with Pemberton Road, to the Hall Road roundabout to enable overhead structure works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the north side of the closure, south-west on Pemberton Road, south on Allensford Bank, north-east on Consett Road, then north-west on Taylor Terrace/Priestman Avenue/ Hall Road, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 26/4/22 from 9.30am and are anticipated to be completed in 1 day. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
