ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - NEW CHURCH ROAD, HOVE

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
(a) The continued temporary suspension of the parking bays on the southern side of New Church Road at its junction with Westbourne Villas eastwards for approx. 37m
(b) The continued removal of the existing bus stop cage on the northern side of New Church Road outside St Cristopher's School and replace with approx. 20m of No Waiting at Anytime
(c) The continued No Waiting or Loading at any time on the northern side of New Church Road outside St Christopher's School eastwards for approx. 15m.
(d) The continued temporary suspension of approx. 15m of parking bay/disabled by on the northern side of New Church Road, outside number 29 and replace with a bus stop cage
(e) The continued temporary suspension of the parking bay outside Southdown Veterinary Group and replace with a disabled bay.

2. The Order is necessary to allow the continuation of development works to take place.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4. This Order comes into force on 6th May 2022 for eighteen months until such sooner time as the works are completed.
