The County Council of Durham (Back Silver Street, Durham) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 16 metres of Back Silver Street, Durham to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of closure, access will be maintained for emergency services at all times, and residents during non-working hours. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 9/5/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
