(Unc 11.3 Iveston Lane, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 20/4/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 1.75 kilometres of Iveston Lane between the lay-by of A691 and the crossroad junction with C16a Delves Lane, Consett to enable carriageway patching repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the northern side of the closure from A691 south easterly and turning south westerly on C58a Stockerley Lane toward Delve Lane leading to the crossroad junction to the southern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 25/4/22 between 7.30am and 3.30pm daily and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
