Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1199, Ruckhall Lane, Belmont, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1199, Ruckhall Lane, Belmont, from the entrance to belmont Lodge to the entrance of Perryhill Farm. Grid Ref: 347186/238495. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Ruckhall Lane onto Church Road, onto the B4349, onto the A465, onto Ruckhall Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to underground structure works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th of May 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
