Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U71019, Bowers Lane, Peterstow, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71019, Bowers Lane, Peterstow, outside entrance to Wescombe. Grid Ref: 356711/224376. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Bowers Lane onto the A49 onto the A40 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to pole works
and the likelihood of danger to the public while
the works are taking place. The said closure will
come into force on 2nd of May 2022 and
remain in force for a maximum period of
18 months (unless extended with the consent
of the Secretary of State) but the works are
expected to be completed within 5 days.
