(St Margaret's Road, Prestwich) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2022 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
St Margaret's Rd, Prestwich - Temporary Road Closure
The closure will come in to place to enable cleaning of chambers in carriageway.
Alternative route will be via Bury Old Rd A665, Heywood Rd and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 03/05/2022 and shall remain in
force for a period of up to 3 months, (Anticipated duration of works - 1 day)

Public Footpath 2, Whitefield - from Public Footpath 3, Whitefield for 460m in a northerly direction
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate archaeological investigation works The alternative route will be via Byway 85, Bury, Bridleway Tl & Moss Hall Rd & vice versa

East side from the southerly kerbline of Walshaw Rd for a distance of 15m in a southerly direction
A copy of the Order (including the exemptions contained in it) which comes into operation on 22/04/22 and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke St, Bury BL9 0EJ. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 22/04/22 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
