Darlington Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Temporary Footway Closure) 2022 East Street And Priestgate, Darlington

Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily close: EAST STREET FOOTWAY (SOUTH SIDE) From a point 32metres east of its junction with Crown Street eastwards for SOmetres PRIESTGATE FOOTWAY (NORTH SIDE) From a point 22metres east of its eastern junction with Crown Street eastwards for 55metres

Alternative routes will be signed via the opposite footways.
The Order is necessary to provide a safe working
zone while demolition works take place
The maximum duration of the temporary closure
under this Order is 18 months commencing from
9th May 2022, it is anticipated that the closure will
be effective for 3 months.
