Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A) B3098 (Part), Coulston; from its junction with C228 to its junction with Coulston Hollow to enable BT to carry out pole test. Alternative route for high sided vehicles via B3098 (unaffected length) - C40 - A360 - A361 - A350 - Bitham Park - B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route for all other vehicles via B3098 (unaffected length) - A360 - A361 - A350 -Bitham Park - B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 08 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. B) C395 (Part), Melksham Without; from its roundabout junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 75m in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out zebra crossing and associated works. Alternative route via C395 (unaffected length) - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 May 2022 and the closure will be required until 03 June 2022. C) A363 St Margarets Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from outside property known as The Grocery Basket to its junction with St Margarets Hill. D) A363 Frome Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its roundabout junction with Station Approach to outside property known as The Three Horseshoes. E) Station Approach (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its roundabout junction with A363 to outside property known as Flower Station to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway surfacing and associated works. Alternative route C) and D) via A363 (unaffected length) - B3107 - B3015 - B3106 - A361 - A363 - Junction Road - A363 (unaffected length) and vice versa. No alternative route is available for E). This Order will come into operation on 10 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 18:00 and 23:59 for 4 nights. SECTION 16(A) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all vehicular traffic: a) Lacock Road (Part), Corsham; from its junction with B3353 Pound Pill to its junction with C157 Ladbrook Lane. b) Ludmead Road (Part), Corsham; from its junction with B3353 Prospect for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction. And to implement temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on B3353 Pickwick Road (Part), Corsham (eastbound side of carriageway only) at the following locations: a) for a distance of approximately 35m between the junctions of Alexander Terrace and Paul Street (Numbers 43 - 45); b) for a distance of approximately 50m between the junctions of Paul Street and Providence Lane (Numbers 51a - 55); c) for a distance of approximately 15m between the junctions of Providence Lane and Beechfields Road (Numbers 57 - 63). These temporary traffic measures are required to safeguard members of the public and participants whilst enabling the Corsham 10Km and 2Km Running Race to take place. This Order will come into operation on Sunday 24 April 2022 with the exception of vehicles officially involved in the Race, vehicles being used for ambulance, police or fire brigade purposes, or the purpose of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, or with permission being given by a Police Constable in uniform. It is anticipated that closure (a) and restrictions (c), (d) and (e) will be required between the hours of 8:45 and 12:30 and closure (b) will be required between the hours of 11:00 and midday. (ALL PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED AS 2021) Notice is hereby given that on 5 April 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and Orders 2 and 3 also under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 - To introduce a prohibition of motor vehicles on Easton Lane from a point 278 metres east of its junction with Easton Road to a point 70 metres west of its junction with Haystack Avenue. Order 2 -To amend the following restrictions in the Corsham Consolidation Order 2018 by revoking Map Schedule Nos CX35, CX36 and CY35 dated 02/04/2018 and the insertion of Map Schedule No CZ35 dated 22/04/2022 the effect of which will be as follows: To introduce No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road: Easton Lane - north west side - from a point approximately 278 metres east of its junction with Easton Road for a distance of approximately 33 metres in a westerly direction; Easton Lane - south east side - from a point approximately 278 metres east of its junction with Easton Road for a distance of approximately 20 metres in a westerly direction. To remove Map Schedules CX35, CX36 and CY35 due to Town boundary changes and place them into the Chippenham and Chippenham Without Consolidation Order as detailed in Order 3 below. Order 3 - To amend the following restrictions in the Chippenham and Chippenham Without Consolidation Order 2019 by the insertion of Map Schedule Nos CX35, CX36 and CY35 dated 22/04/2022, due to Town boundary changed these Map Schedules will now move from the Corsham Consolidation Order into the Chippenham and Chippenham Without Consolidation Order. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
