Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: B4234, From New House Farm Access To Combe Lodge Access, Herefordshire, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 20/40mph on the following road, B4234, From New House Farm Access to Combe Lodge Access, Walford from outside Walford Timber to 40m from B4229 junction. 40mph: Grid ref: 358621/219722 to 358444/219473 and 358304/219347 to 358160/219202. 20mph: Grid ref. 358444/219473 to 358304/219347.

The said restriction is required due to an unsafe rock face alongside the carriageway and the likelihood of danger to the public until the rock face is made safe. The said restriction will come into force on 9th May 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless ex-tended with the consent of the Secretary of State).
