Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council New Line / Harrogate Road, Greengates, Bradford Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of road works proposed to be executed on or near New Line/Harrogate Road, Greengates, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the lengths New Line/Harrogate Road as follows: -
Phase 1 - Harrogate Road - from its junction with New Line to its junction with Valley View Drive.
Phase 2 - New Line - from its junction with Harrogate Road to its junction with Haigh Hall Road.
Phase 3 - New Lane - from its junction with Harrogate Road to its junction with Elder Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Alternative routes for pedestrian and vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available as follows: -
Phase 1 and 2 - via Harrogate Road, Apperley Road, Hemingway Road, Leeds Road, New Line and vice versa.
Phase 3 - via Harrogate Road, (unaffected section), Killinghall Road, Leeds Road, Bradford Road, Ring Road Farsley, Rawdon Road, Leeds Road, Micklefield Lane, Apperley Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 21:00 hours on the 25th April 2022 and remain in force until 06:00 hours on the 23rd May 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
