Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14(1) U7051 Melkridge Junction To Milestone Junction Melkridge U7050 Melkridge To Carrsgate House (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in the County of Northumberland.
U7051 Melkridge Junction to Milestone House Junction from its junction with the A69 heading south for a distance of 112 metres.
U7070 Melkridge To Carrsgate House from its junction with the U7051 Melkridge Junction to Milestone House Junction heading east for a distance of 2820 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the
19th April 2022 until the 19th October 2022.
It is expected that the road will only be closed
from the 19th April 2022 until the
20th April 2022 between the hours of
07:30 and 16:30 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be
via the A69 vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out carriageway patching, drainage repairs, surface dressing, white lining and road suds.
