Parishes of Staplegrove, Kingston St Mary and Cheddon Fitzpaine Temporary Closure of Kingston Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Kingston Road - from the junction with Hope Corner Lane, northwards for a distance of 837 metres. This Order will enable Airband Community Internet to carry out blockages and overheard poling works. The Order becomes effective on 28th April 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 3rd May 2022 and last until 17th May 2022 between the hours of 18:30 - 06:00 for a total of 14 days. Please visit
