Temporary Traffic Management Order Of Coombe Valley Road, Preston, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 29 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 9 May 2022. The works will take place between 05:00hrs and 18:00hrs, however the road will re-open each day at morning and afternoon peak times as indicated by signs on site. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface dressing works. The effect of this Order is as follows;
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Coombe Valley Road from its junction with Littlemoor Road to the national speed limit terminal signs.
[2] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Coombe Valley Road from its junction with Littlemoor Road to the national speed limit signs. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Dead Man To Edmondsham Lane, Cranborne
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along DEAD MAN TO EDMONDSHAM LANE, CRANBORNE from the junction of Edmondsham To B3081 Via Sandys Hill, West and East of this point, a distance of approximately 145 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 11th April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19 April 2022.
These works have been organised to take place during the Easter Holiday to minimise diruptions to the local schools.
This Order will enable Kier agents for South West Water, safe access to install a new water service.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: B3078 - Batterley Drove -Edmondsham Road - Champtoceaux Avenue - B3081.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Weymouth -Various Surface Dressing
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 3 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13 May 2022. The working hours will be between 05:00 and 18:00, please note the roads will be re-opened during peak times.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surfacing works. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closures on the following roads between 3 May 2022 and 13 May 2022 as indicated by signs on site; - Bridlebank Way - Lynmoor Road -Westhaven - Russell Avenue - St Leonards Road - Newberry Road - Williams Avenue - Fairview Road - Walker Crescent.
[2] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along the following roads between 3 May 2022 and 13 May 2022 as indicated by signs on site; - Bridlebank Way - Lynmoor Road - Westhaven - Russell Avenue - St Leonards Road - Newberry Road - Williams Avenue - Fairview Road -Walker Crescent

It will come into operation on 6 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 May 2022. The works will take place between 05:00hrs and 18:00hrs, however the road will re-open each day at morning and afternoon peak times as indicated by signs on site. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface dressing works. The effect of this Order is as follows;
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Park Estate Road for its entirety.
[2] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Park Estate Road for its entirety.

Temporary Closure of Unnamed Road, Arne
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 10 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16 May 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Unnamed Road, Arne from the junction with Arne Road to Norden Roundabout a distance of approximately 4400 metres. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
[2] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Unnamed Road, Arne from the junction with Arne Road to Norden Roundabout a distance of approximately 4400 metres. Temporary Closure of Jennys Lane & Dolmans Hill, Lytchett Matravers
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. The order came into operation between 07:00 until 17:00 on 12th April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 April 2022. This Notice will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Various Roads, Lytchett Matravers as listed:
[i] Jenny's Lane from the junction with High Street to the junction with Dolmans Hill;
[ii] Dolmans Hill from the junction with Jennys Lane to the junction with Bulbury Lane. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
[2] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Various Roads, Lytchett Matravers as listed:
[i] Jenny's Lane from the junction with High Street to the junction with Dolmans Hill;

It will come into operation on 11 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17 May 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary 10mph speed limit to faciliate a convoy working system on Morden Road, Wareham from Sibley Pottery Roundabout toa point 1300 metres to the north. As indicated by traffic signs on site.
[2] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Morden Road, Wareham from Sibley Pottery Roundabout toa point 1300 metres to the north. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Various Roads, Colehill
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1 October 2022.
[i] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along FRYERS COPSE, COLEHILL, from its junction with Canford Bottom (in both directions), a distance of approximately 350 metres.
[ii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along BRIDLE WAY, COLEHILL, between the junctions with Middlehill Road and Canford Bottom (in both directions), a distance of approximately 880 metres.
[iii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CANNON HILL ROAD, COLEHILL, between its junction with Middlehill Road and Pilford Heath Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 235 metres.
[iiii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along GLYNVILLE ROAD,
COLEHILL, between its junction with Middlehill Road and Glynville Close (in both directions), a distance of approximately 175 metres.
[v] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along WESTON ROAD, COLEHILL, between its junction with Middlehill Road and Glynville Close (in both directions), a distance of approximately 85 metres.
[vi] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along KYRCHIL LANE, COLEHILL, between its junction with Wimborne Road and Wimborne Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 310 metres.
[vii] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along SANDY CLOSE, COLEHILL, between its junction with Wimborne Road and Wimborne Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 65 metres.
[viii] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Fryers Copse, Bridle Way, Cannon Hill Road, Glynville Road, Kyrchil Lane and Sandy Close, Colehill. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
