(Chitts Hill, West Bergholt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chitts Hill, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Argents Lane for a distance of approximately 365m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS78707AA - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Chitts Hill, Halstead Road, A1124 Halstead Road, Halstead Road Roundabout, A1124 Halstead Road, Wood Lane, Porters Cottages, Fiddlers Hill, Mill Road, Church Road, Moat Road, Plummers Road, Wormingford Road, Fordham Road, Main Road, Packards Lane, Bures Road, Hall Road, Nayland Road, Colchester Road, Lexden Road, Newbridge Hill and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 7th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Holland Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM59730395 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial reinstatement works are undertaken by Anglian Water
An alternative route is available via Holland Road, Harold Road and vice versa (with access only into Church Road). The Order came into effect on 7th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (No.3) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in schedule 1.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of road as detailed in schedule 1.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the lengths of road in schedules 1 and 2 for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 7th April 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in the Schedule.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping'' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting. No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction in that length of road in the schedule.

(Wolves Hall Lane, Tendring) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wolves Hall Lane, Tendring in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 540m north east then south east of its junction with Chapel Lane for a distance of approximately 290m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th April 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC111WBNGW68Y001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while joint box installation works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Wolves Hall Lane, Parsonage Lane, Clacton Road, Wilson Close, Heath Hospital Road, Stones Green Road, Tendring Road, Colchester Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 7th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
