(Chapel Hill, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Chapel Hill, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from a point approx. 260m north of A131 for approx. 25m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 25/04/2022 to 06/05/2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new foul connection and manhole works are undertaken. The alternative route will be via Chapel Hill, A131, A1124, A1017, Halstead Road, Sloe Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25/04/2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No. 21) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order:
1. To introduce double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) in the District of Braintree in the following locations: on the junction of Wethersfield Road with Kempe Road; on the junction of Wethersfield Road with Valley View; on The Causeway, west side, from the shared boundary of The Granary and Street Farmhouse to a point approximately 68 metres north of that; outside the Fox Inn (around the seating area); on the west side of Bridge Street; on Green Road, east side, from its junction with Brent Hall Road southwards for 15 metres; on Brent Hall Road, south side, from its junction with Green Road in an easterly direction for 15 metres; on the junction of Manor Street and Camulus Close; on Morley Road, north side from its junction with Pretoria Road in an easterly direction for 6 metres; on Morley Road, south side, about 5 metres either side of the junction to the car park behind the telephone exchange; on Morley Road, south side, from its junction with Pretoria Road in an easterly direction for 6 metres; and on Pretoria Road, west side, from the shared boundary of Nos. 44 and 46 to the shared boundary of Nos. 48 and 50.
2. To amend the following restrictions in the District of Braintree: to extend the double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) on both sides of Woodham Drive so they now extend from its junction with Maldon Road to the shared boundary of Nos. 5 and 7; to extend the double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) on the south side of Manor Street so it now extends from its junction with Trinovantian Way to a point approximately 28 metres west of that; to introduce 'No Stopping At Any Time' red route restrictions on the junction of The Maltings and Shalford Road; to introduce 'No Stopping At Any Time' red route restrictions on the junction of Station Road and The Street; to introduce a 'Limited Waiting 30 Minutes No Return Within 1 Hour' bay on The Street, south side, outside No.1 Station Road, opposite Haslers; and to introduce a 'Resident Permit Holders Only BMS1' bay on Manor Street, south side, from outside No. 92a to No. 108.
3. To amend The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 so the properties set out in Schedule 1 of this notice will be eligible for the corresponding permit zones.
4. Administrative change made to confirm the eligible properties for a permit for Zone 14.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing the following tile numbers with revision 1: TL795 115, TL680 327, TL685 327, TL815 307; replacing the following tile numbers with revision 3: TL760 230; and inserting TL725 225, TL730 227 at revision 0. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on Monday 23rd May 2022.

Application to the High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Head Street, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Head Street, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Colchester Road to its junction with Colne Road a distance of approximately 290m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th May 2022 for 1 night (19:00 -05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2312998 -
Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching and ironwork replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Colne Road, Fenn Road, Colchester Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Trinity Street, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Trinity Street, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Chapel Hill to its junction with Bridge Street a distance of approximately 310m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th May 2022 for 1 night (19;00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2313896 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Mount Hill, Braintree Road, Bournebridge Hill, Pennypot Corner, Halstead Road, Gosfield Road, The Street, Hedingham Road, Halstead Road - A1124, Market Hill, High Street, Bridge Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Hill, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Hill, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree from its junction with Park Lane to its junction with Coggeshall Road a distance of approximately 200m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th April 2022 for 2 nights (19:00
- 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2318949 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Kings Lane, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kings Lane, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with A120 for a distance of approximately 295m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA55119141 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via A120, Coggeshall Road, Marks Roundabout, A120 J A131/b1256 Roundabout, Braintree Bypass - A131, Broad Road Roundabout, Broad Road, High Garrett, Halstead Road, Pennypot Corner, Bournebridge Hill, Braintree Road, Mount Hill, Trinity Street, Bridge Street, High Street, Head Street, Colchester Road, Greenstead Hall Road, Church Road, Grange Hill, Stisted Road, Brook Farm Road, Tumblers Green, Greenstead Green Road, Back Lane, The Street, Kings Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 7th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Street, Pebmarsh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Pebmarsh in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Mill Lane to its junction with Hill House Road a distance of approximately 250m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th May 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5001CCESSA1A006934 - County Broadband Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.
An alternative route is available via The Street, Clay Hills, Oak Road, Twinstead Road, Cripple Corner, Cross End and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 7th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
