Notice of Making of An Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order 2022 Footpath 4 Tillingham
The above order, made on 30th March 2022, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of Footpath 4 Tillingham of unknown width shown by a bold continuous black line on the Order Map, from its existing route through the garden of the property known as Thrashes or Threshers to an alternative route 2 meters wide running along an arable field headland close to the eastern and southern boundaries of the aforementioned property.

Copies of the order and order map have also been sent to Tillingham Parish Council, St Lawrence Parish Council and Maldon District Council. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Roy Read, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 12th May 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
(Sheepcoates Lane, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sheepcoates Lane, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 285m south west of its junction wtih Park Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 310m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th May 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC117000000000199342DNO1 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while plant transfer works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Sheepcoates Lane, Church Lane, School Road, Park Wood Lane, and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 21st April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Ashfield Farm Road, Ulting) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ashfield Farm Road, Ulting in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 150m south east of its junction with Crouchmans Farm Road for a distance of approximately 245m in a south easterly then easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th April 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC111WBKWDV8Y001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Crouchmans Farm Road, Ulting Road, The Green, Maldon Road and vice versa (with access only into Ashfield Farm Road).
The Order came into effect on 7th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Birchwood Road, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Birchwood Road, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 80m south east of the junction with Chimney Lane for a distance of approximately 225m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA55356837 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Birchwood Road, Hackmans Lane, Marlpits Road, Burnham Road, Chelmsford Road, Lodge Lane and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fambridge Road, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 100m south east of its junction with Blind Lane for a distance of approximately 655m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA54727721 - Openreach). (Southminster Road, Asheldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southminster Road, Asheldham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Green Lane for a distance of approximately 265m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS269550-A - Openreach). (The Street, Tolleshunt Major/Little Totham) (Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Restriction) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction in that length of The Street, Tolleshunt Major/Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 35m south of the junction with Witham Road for a distance of approximately 440m in a south easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 25th April 2022 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWD1MN60N003 & 05 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach. The Order came into effect on 7th April 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Maldon/City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.2) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Maldon/City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Areas) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. "The Essex County Council (Chelmsford City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 7th April 2022 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
