Mae Gweinidogion Cymru yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig oherwydd perygl tebygol i'r cyhoedd o ganlyniad i rwystr diogelwch diffygiol ar gefnffordd yr A4042 rhwng Croesyceiliog a Phont-y-pwl, Torfaen.
Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gosod terfyn cyflymder 50 mya dros dro ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A4042 sy'n ymestyn o'i chyffordd ag ochr ogleddol Cylchfan Edlogan Way, Croesyceiliog i'w chyffordd ag ochr ddeheuol Cylchfan Court Farm, Pont-y-pwl, gan gynnwys cerbytffyrdd cylchredol Cylchfannau Cwmbran a Phont-y-pwl.
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 3 Mai 2022 a disgwylir y bydd y cyfyngiad dros dro yn weithredol o 00:01 o'r gloch ar y dyddiad hwnnw am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf.

The A4042 Trunk Road (Edlogan Way Roundabout, Croesyceiliog To Court Farm Roundabout, Pontypool, Torfaen) (Temporary 50 Mph Speed Limit) Order 202-

The Welsh Ministers propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary due to the likelihood of danger to the public due to a defective safety barrier on the A4042 trunk road between Croesyceiliog and Pontypool, Torfaen.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to impose a temporary 50 mph speed limit on the length of the A4042 trunk road that extends from its junction with the northern side of Edlogan Way Roundabout, Croesyceiliog to its junction with the southern side of Court Farm Roundabout, Pontypool, including the circulatory carriageways of Cwmbran and Pontypool Roundabouts.
The Order will come into force on 3 May 2022 and the temporary restriction is expected to operate from 00:01 hours on that date for a maximum duration of 18 months.
