14(1), (2) & (7) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Launton, Station Road (40mph Speed Limit) Date of Order: 11 April 2022 Coming into force: 22 April 2022 This Order continues in force a works Notice introduced for the safety of road users for works at the new rail bridge site which is anticipated to be completed 18 June 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily reduce the national 60mph speed limit to 40mph in the vicinity of the bridge. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

The relevant part of the Oxfordshire County Council (Launton Parish) (Speed Limit) Order 2003 shall be temporarily suspended for the duration of the Works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. 10138/AC)
