Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2022

(Gas Mains Replacement Scheme - Langdale Crescent and Cartmel Road, Erith)
Notice Of Intention
1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14( I) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable gas mains replacement in the footway and carriageway in Langdale Crescent and Cartmel Road, Erith byJDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Langdale Crescent from the junction with Heversham Road to the junction with Belmont Road.
- Prohibition of traffic full length of Cartmel Road
Rolling Road Closures from 25th April as required for connections, Vac Ex and Muck Away on Langdale Crescent and Cartmel Road.
2. The Order will come into effect on 25 April 2022 and is valid for a period of 18 months, However, the works are expected to be completed within 52 weeks,
3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative route for Langdale Crescent will be provided via: Belmont Road, Bedonwell Road, Long Lane, Rydal Drive, Heversham Road, and reverse Cartmel Road - no diversion however, access for residents and emergency services will be granted when works allow.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Bourne Road/Southwold Road Roundabout, Bexley
Notice of Intention
1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14( I) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to enable carriageway resurfacing byJB Riney on behalf of The London Borough of Bexley, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on the Bourne Road Roundabout to the junction with Southwold Road
2. The Order will come into effect on 25 April 2022 and is valid for a period of 18 months, However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 nights from 1900 to 0200.
3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative route will be provided via;
- Southwold Road, E Rochester Way, Blendon Road, Danson Underpass, Lodge Lane, E Rochester Way
- Gravel Hill, Albion Road, Townley Road, Arbuthnot Lane, Bridgen Road, Parkhill Road, Bexley High Street
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians Order 2021 - (Crusoe Road To Sandcliff Road, Erith - Footpath 18)
Notice Of Intention
1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned footpath, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14( I) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable repairs to fence by Mr. All Hamra, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be to close Footpath 18 to pedestrian traffic between Crusoe Road to Sandcliff Road, Erith
2. The Order will come into effect on 25 April 2022 and is valid for a period of 6 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 months.
3. Whilst the works are in progress, Sandcliff Road, Church Road, Alford Road will be available for pedestrians:
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, to emergency service personnel or to persons undertaking the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
