(C34 Moor Lane, Old Eldon) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 1/4/22 made the above Older under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 1.43 kilometres of C34 Moor Lane between its junctions with Unclassified road 42.7 Eldon Bank and Unclassified road 42.9, Old Eldon to enable tree removal works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the eastern side of the closure from Old Eldon Hall Farm southerly to Middridge Lane then westerly on C35 to Albert Street then north on Cheapside and Eldon Bank Top to Eldon and the junction with C34 to the western side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 11/4/22 from 8am to 4pm and are anticipated to be completed in 2 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
