(Aged Miners Homes, The Middles, Stanley) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 40 metres of Aged Miners Homes that extends northwards from Woodside Gardens, The Middles, Stanley to enable electricity cable renewal works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the south eastern side of the closure from Ettrick Terrace south westerly onto Durham Road then north westerly turning north easterly onto Denewood Court leading to the north western side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 25/4/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
