Wendover, Planning Notice

Hawridge and Cholesbury Commons

UK Power Networks has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Hawridge and Cholesbury Commons. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.
The proposed works are:
Installation of a 3m x 3m substation site to be housed in a GRP enclosure along with associated underground cabling. The works may be temporarily fenced during the initial installation. The works are off Cholesbury Lane, adjacent to the Full Moon Public House.
A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Wendover Community Library, High Street, Wendover, HP22 6DU during normal opening hours until Friday 13,h May 2022.
