Notice Of Making The Borough Of Watford (Sandringham Road Area, Watford) (Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for Hertfordshire County Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Order pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 and the Local Government (Arrangements for Discharge of Functions) (England) Regulations 2000 with the Hertfordshire County Council, and in exercise of the powers conferred on that County under Sections 1,2,3 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (referred to as "the Act") and all other enabling powers. The order will come into effect on 8th April 2022 and will amend no waiting at any time restrictions in the Sandringham Road Area as follows:
(A) Introduction of No Waiting at Any Time on both sides of Windsor Road for 10 metres from its junction with

St Albans Road
(B) Introduction of No Waiting at Any Time on the east side of Sandringham Road for 10 metres, outside property numbers 4-8.

(C) Extension of the existing No Waiting at Any Time on the south side of Osborne Road from its junction with Sandringham Road for an additional 9 metres

(D) Reduction of the length of No Waiting at Any Time on the east side of Sandringham Road, north of its junction with Osborne Road by 5 metres.

(E) Reduction of the length of No Waiting at Time on the north side of Windsor Road, west of its junction with Sandringham Road by 5 metres

(F) Removal of 12 metres of No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am-630pm on the north side of Buckingham Road, west of Sandringham Road.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any of the provisions contained in them, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
