Temporary Traffic Order -Drove Road, Portslade

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 6th April 2022 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

(a) The temporary closure of Drove Road, Portslade, Between its junction with South Street and its junction with Southdown Road.

(b) For the duration of this closure the following roads will be closed at their junction with Drove Road; South Street and North Road.

(c) For the duration of this closure it will be necessary to suspend the one-way order on South Street between its junction with Drove Road and its junction with High Street, Portslade, to maintain access.

2. The Order is necessary to allow new utility connections to take place.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a diversion route for vehicular traffic will be signed.

4. This Order comes into force on 11th April 2022 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed which is estimated to be 24th April 2022.
