A303 TRUNK ROAD (MICHELDEVER) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A303 Trunk Road in the County of Hampshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.
The effect of the Order is to authorise the overnight closure of the lay-by adjacent to the eastbound carriageway of the A303 between points 245 metres and 462 metres east of the exit slip road at Micheldever Interchange. This measure is in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake works for Virgin Media. It is expected that the work will last for approximately 1 night starting on or after Thursday 21st April 2022. The overnight closures will take place between 20:00 and 06:00 (maximum period). The Order will come into force on 19th April 2022 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete. The temporary closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when it is in operation during the works period.
