City of Bradford Council Hackney Carriage Fares

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of Bradford pursuant to their powers under Section 65 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 relating to hackney carriage fares in the said City has made a variation to the table of fares as set out below which it is proposed shall come Into operation from 25 April 2022. Anyone wishing to object to this variation may do so before the expiry of fourteen days from the date of the publication of this Notice by letter addressed to Mrs. Carol Stos, Licensing Service Manager, Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Services, Shearbridge Depot, Great Horton Road, Bradford, BD7 1PU

VARIATION TO THE TABLE OF FARES: TARIFF 1
07.00 TO 23.00 Monday to Saturday
If the distance does not exceed 88 Metres (96 Yards).......................£2.50
each subsequent 88 Metres (or part thereof).....................................£0.10
Waiting time (for each completed 60 Seconds or part thereof)..........£0.10

TARIFF 2
23.00 TO 07.00
Monday to Saturday, all day, Sunday, Bank & Public holidays, (Except
Christmas Day & New Years Day) 07.00 TO 18.00
24 December, 26 December & 31 December
All journeys outside the district boundary at any time.
If the distance does not exceed 80 metres (88 Yards).......................£2.50
For each subsequent 80 Metres (or part thereof)...............................£0.10

Contracts or purported contracts for private hire. When the hirer arranges by radio telephone or otherwise with the proprietor or driver, prior to the commencement of the hiring, for hire of the carriage to commence
