Diversion And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Order 2022

The above named Order made on 29 March 2022 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will divert the full width of that section of public footpath no 526009 situate at Spring Bank in the parish of Grange over Sands from GR 339753 478206 eastwards for about 112 metres to GR 339862 478201; to run from GR 339753 478206 northeastwards and eastwards for about 124 metres around the edge of the field to GR 339861 478251 then across a tarmac drive for about 8 metres to GR 339869 478249 and then turning southwards for about 53 metres to GR 339862 478201. The width of the new path will vary from 1.2 metres to 3 metres. If no objections are duly made or if any so made are withdrawn the Cumbria County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
