(Avon Road, Stanley) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 1/4/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on 215 metres of Avon Road (south side) between numbers 45 & 91, and 25 metres from the gable of number 45 extending south to Avon Road, and 38 metres from the gable of number 60 extending south to Avon Road, Stanley to enable footpath resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alternative routes will be available to pedestrian traffic via other local footways and footpaths in the area. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 11/4/22 from 7.30am to 3.30pm daily and are anticipated to be completed in 6 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
