Notice Under Article 15(4) of Application for Planning Permission
Application Number: P/FUL/2022/01971.
Proposed Development at Hodge Ditch, Chard Junction Quarry, Chard Junction, Thorncombe, Chard, Dorset, TA20 4QN.
Aggregate Industries UK Limited are applying for planning permission for Deepening of a 1.4 Ha area of the previously worked area known as Hodge Ditch to release approximately 50 000 tonnes of previously unreachable sand and gravel.

The Dorset Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2022
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the abovementioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. When the Order comes into operation on 28 March 2022 the effect of the Order will be to
- Consolidate all previous off street parking orders and variation notices made by the Council in respect of off-street parking places
- Introduce tariff changes in certain car parks
- Introduce restrictions on permitted vehicles according to length in certain car parks
- Introduce charges into certain previously no charge car parks
- Introduce a new off street parking places permit parking scheme.

4. Temporary Traffic Management Order of Blackney Lane, Blackney
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 06 May 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on BLACKNEY LANE, BLACKNEY from its junction with Laverstock Farm Lane to its junction with Monkwood Lane, a distance of approximately 460 metres.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along BLACKNEY LANE, BLACKNEY from its junction with Laverstock Farm Lane to its junction with Monkwood Lane, a distance of approximately 460 metres.
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along BLACKNEY LANE, BLACKNEY from its junction with Laverstock Farm Lane to its junction with Monkwood Lane, a distance of approximately 460 metres.
The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: C77 - B3162 - C18 -Monkwood Lane.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on B3165, MARSHWOOD from its junction with B3164 to Racedown Farm, a distance of approximately 950 metres.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along B3165, MARSHWOOD from its junction with B3164 to Racedown Farm, a distance of approximately 950 metres.
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along B3165, MARSHWOOD from its junction with B3164 to Racedown Farm, a distance of approximately 950 metres. The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: B3165 - B3162 - B3164. Temporary Closure of Broom Lane, Tytherleigh
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along BROOM LANE, TYTHERLEIGH at either side of the level crossing, a distance of approximately 60 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation at 2300 on 14 April 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19 April 2022.
This Order will enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out works over the level crossing.
An alternative route will be signed using: A358 Chard Road - Waggs Plot - Wadbrook. [2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along A3066, MOSTERTON between the entrance to Pattemores Transport Ltd and its junction with Bowes Lane, a distance of approximately 1435 metres.
