Kington Road, Temporary Speed Restrictions

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: B4230 Kington Road, Weobley, Herefordshire, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 20 MPH on the following road, B4230 Kington Road, Weobley, from the entrance to 'Primasil Silicones' to the St Thomas Church
The said restriction is required due to slowing of traffic whilst construction traffic enters and exits treatment works off the highway, are undertaken and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said restriction will come into force on 3rd May 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 186 days.
