Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Cowley, Footpaths 320/29/10, 320/28/20 closure & Rymers Lane Prohibition of Waiting Date of Order: 25 April 2022 Coming into force: 2 May 2022 This Order is being introduced because footpath improvement work which is anticipated to take until; 15 July to complete. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpaths 320/29/10 and 320/28/20 (from Oxford Road to Campbell Road beside Boundary Brook). Also to temporarily suspend parking on west side of Rymers Lane south of the footpath junctions to enable the placing of an 80 meter long works compound. Exemptions to access are included for emergency services and for Works. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative pedestrian route for the closure is via Rymers Lane, Littlehay Road, Oxford Road; or Rymers Lane, Cornwallis Road, Campbell Road and vice versa. The recommended cycle route is via Littlehay Road, Oxford Road, Cowley Road, Shelley Road and Cricket Road. The Footpath Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months and the prohibition of waiting order for 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Great Bourton, School Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 28 February 2022 This Order was introduced because of water main renewal works commencing 7 March but the date has been revised to 11 April, and is anticipated to be completed 10 June 2022. The effect of the Order is to emporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in sections of School Lane as work progresses. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via Crow lane and Main Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9812/RAG)
