The Lancashire County Council (Public Footpaths 11-4-FP65. 63 & 66 Great Harwood. Hyndburn Borough) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State for Transport has agreed to the above Order, which was due to expire on the 5th April, 2022, remaining in force until the 5th April, 2023, or until the works are completed within this period. The effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding over those lengths of Public Footpath indicated below: -
Part of Public Footpath 11-4-FP65 Great Harwood, Hyndburn, from Point A (SD 7166 3334) in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 360 metres to Point B (SD 7186 - 3305) and continuing in a generally easterly direction for approximately 6 metres to Point C (SD 7191 3306).
Part of Public Footpath 11-4-FP63 Great Harwood, Hyndburn, from Point D (SD 7184 3302) in a generally easterly direction for approximately 6 metres to Point B (SD 7186 - 3305).
Public Footpath 11-4-FP66 Great Harwood, Hyndburn, from Point C (SD 7191 - 3306) in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 375 metres to Point A (SD 7166 - 3334).
The closure is necessary whilst works are carried out on or near the footpaths
Access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the footpaths, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the footpaths, will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the order shall apply to emergency service vehicles or to those undertaking the works
