Darlington Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 Cockerton Shops Link Footpath

Darlington Borough Council Intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close: COCKERTON SHOPS LINK FOOTPATH From a point 2metres north of the northern building line of Cockerton Library southwards to its end at the rear of the Library An alternative route will be signed to the front of the shops and southwards to the side of 313 Woodland Road.
The Order is necessary to allow trial holes to locate services.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure
under this Order is 6 months commencing from
25th April 2022, it is anticipated that the closure
will be effective for 2 weeks
