Darlington Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Temporary Road Closure) 2022 Cleveland Street, Darlington

Darlington Borough Council Intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close: CLEVELAND STREET From the east side of Cleveland Trading Estate junction eastwards to its junction with Allan Street

An alternative route will be signed via Albert Road, A167, St Cuthbert's Way, Freeman's Place, Haughton Road, Barton Street, Allan Street and vice versa.
The Order is necessary to allow works by
Northern Gas Networks to replace a gas main.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure
under this Order is 18 months commencing from
9th May 2022, it is anticipated that the closure
will be effective for 2 weeks.
