BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 45, Great and Little Hampden) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 45, Great and Little Hampden, from Rignall Road for a distance of approximately 200m. The closure is required whilst Thames Water improvement works take place commencing on 1 April 2022 for 3 months. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be as signed on site. The Order will come into operation on 1 April 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Grove Lane, Ashley Green in the Parish of Ashley Green CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Grove Lane for approximately 172m. Alternative route: Grove Lane, Village Road, Chesham Road, Rushmere Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach overhead cabling works take place commencing on 18 April 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 April 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Main Road, Hambleden) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Main Road for 2211 metres. Alternative route: Bockmer Road, Bockmer Lane, Henley Road, Skirmett Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst underground cabling works take place commencing on 05 April 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 05 April 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The closure is required whilst cabling works for new customer connection take place commencing on 05 April 2022 between 08:00 and 16:00. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that on 1st April 2022 Buckinghamshire Council (hereinafter referred to as "the Council"), in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") as amended and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the Act of 2004") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, proposes to make the above titled Orders. The effect of the orders is to introduce movement restrictions which will prohibit any vehicle proceeding in a north-westerly direction in A413 Amersham Road to turn right towards Gerrards Cross golf club as well as prohibit the right turn from central island reserve into A413 Amersham Road northbound traffic. The reason for proceeding by way of a Traffic Order is to prohibit the right turn manoeuvres from the central reserve in order to address a number of road traffic collisions that have occurred at the junction involving all manoeuvres. A copy of the Final Orders and Plans showing the lengths of roads affected, together with a copy of the Statement of Reasons can be viewed on the Buckinghamshire Council website https://yourvoicebucks.citizenspace.com/ or via prior arrangement. If you wish to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders, you may within 6 weeks from the date of publication of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Colne Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Colne Road for approximately 27 metres. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole replacement works take place commencing on 11 April 2022. Road will be open by 18:00 each day. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 April 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (New Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in New Road for 58 metres. The closure is required whilst a gas connection on the Service Road takes place commencing on 11 April 2022 between 08:00 and 17:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 April 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The closure is required whilst the supplier repairs a carriageway box for a customer out of service, commencing on 8th April 2022 between 08:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 08 April 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The closure is required whilst the supplier lays duct in carriageway commencing on 11 April 2022 between 08:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 April 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
