(C2062 Church Road, Workington) (Temporary No Waiting At Any Time And No Loading And Unloading At Any Time, Traffic Restriction) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Northern Gas Networks to carry out gas main replacement works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from waiting at any time, on any day and/or to load and unload at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders) along that section of the C2061 Church Road, Workington (north west side), from its junction with Eadie Street, extending in a north easterly direction for approx 30 m.

Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
1. Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and

2. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and

, quoting the reference AL22-080. The Order will come into operation on 4 April 2022 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 16 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
