(Trent Crescent, Ouse Crescent, Esk Avenue, Footpath numbers 3 and 23, Wear Crescent, Derwent Crescent, Great Lumley) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022
The Council on 25/3/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on the following footpaths in Great Lumley: Trent Crescent to the northern side of number 16 and extending east to opposite
14 Ouse Crescent and including the path directly to the north of numbers 1 to 11; Ouse Crescent to the northern side of number 1 to 6; Esk Avenue to the northern side of number 1 to 8; Footpath Number 3 between number 5 to 14 Wear Crescent; Wear Crescent to the south of numbers
15 to 22; Footpath Number 23 between Ouse Crescent and Front Street; Derwent Crescent to the south of numbers 1 to 5 to enable new telecom infrastructure works to be undertaken. Alternative routes will be available to pedestrian traffic via the frontages of each street for residents and generally via Scorers Lane and Front Street. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 8/4/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 9 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
