Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14(1) C265 / C270 Lead Road Slaley (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C265/C270 Lead Road from its junction with B6306 heading east for a distance of 6062 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 20th April 2022 until the 20th November 2022. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th April 2022 until the 25th April 2022 between the hours of 07:30 and 16:30 during this period. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6306 C280 B6307 A695, A68 and vice-versa. Enquiries should be made to Northumberland County Council's Contact Centre 0345 600 6400 or at

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out carriageway patching, drainage repairs, surface dressing, white lining and road suds.
