Section 14(1) B6341 Monkridge To Elsdon, Elsdon (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6341 Monkridge to Elsdon from its junction with A696 heading in a easterly direction for a distance of 3823 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 19th April 2022 until the 19th November 2022. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 19th April 2022 until the 21 st April 2022 between the hours of 07:30 and 16:30 during this period.

The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6341, B6342, C195, A696 and vice versa. Enquiries should be made to Northumberland County Council's Contact Centre 0345 600 6400 or at

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout carriageway and drainage works, surface dressing and white lining and road studs.
