College Road, Temporary Road Closure

Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1127, College Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1127, College Road, Hereford, either side of the railway bridge. Grid Ref: 351580 / 241745. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Old School Lane onto the A4103 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to bridge widening works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th of April 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 12 weeks.
