Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U72207, Chapel Lane, Dormington, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72207, Chapel Lane, Dormington, from the junction with the C1292 to Priors Frome Chapel. Grid Ref: 357523/239292. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Chapel Lane onto Colleyhorne, onto the C1293, onto Larport Lane, onto the C1292 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 25th of April 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
