WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL
(KIRTONS FARM ROAD, BURGHFIELD)
(TEMPORARY 30mph SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2022

West Berkshire District Council has made an Order in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from exceeding 30mph in any direction over Kirtons Farm Road between its junction with Cottage Lane to the Wokingham District boundary.
The purpose of this Order is to facilitate safe passage for pedestrians to and from the Small Mead Bridge Escape route whilst a permanent order is being prepared to be put in its place.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th April 2022. It is envisaged that this restriction will be in place from the 4th April 2022. The Order shall remain in force for a period of Eighteen months, or until a permanent order is made, whichever is the soonest.
The Order shall not take effect until signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 have been erected
