Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting map tile: TL945 240 Revision 0 to Revision 1.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chitts Hill, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Argents Lane for a distance of approximately 365m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS78707AA - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Holland Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM59730395 - Anglian Water). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction in that length of Colchester Road, Tiptree/Maldon Road, Messing in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 230m north east of the junction with Messing Road for a distance of approximately 780m in a north easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 7th April 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2323350 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Various Roads, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (No.3) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in schedule 1.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of road as detailed in schedule 1.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the lengths of road in schedules 1 and 2 for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the restriction will be in force.
The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and
suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 7th April 2022 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
