NOTICE IS GIVEN that under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Lake District National Park Authority intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order. The effect of the order will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding over any part of the unsealed section of Breast High Road byway between the A6 (NY 5529 0532) and Bretherdale (NY 5755 0489)
(BOAT 355002/367004/355003 /584026), to enable works to repair the road surface and to allow a bedding in period. The order will take effect on 1 May 2022 and will continue in force for six months, May to November 2022. If the works have not been completed, or the bedding-in period needs further time the closure may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
