Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Nuneham Courtenay - Footpath Closure Date of Order: 21 February 2022 Coming into force: 1 March 2022 This Order is being introduced because overhead electricity line refurbishment between Cowley and Didcot which is anticipated to be completed by 15 July 2022. The effect of the Order for public safety reasons is to close temporarily public rights of way as follows:

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of bridleway. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There are no signed alternative routes for those affected by the closure. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9891/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kennington, Old Abingdon Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 14 March 2022 Coming into force: 21 March 2022 This Order is being introduced because of 2 phases of site investigation works including geotechnical boreholes. The first from 21 March to 7 April, and the second from 13 to 23 April. They will operate between 22:00 and 05:00hours. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of Old Abingdon Road from Kennington Road to the A423 ring road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. The alternative route for traffic is via the A423 Southern By-pass Eastbound, and the A4144 Abingdon Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9993/AC)

Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 28 March 2022 Coming into force: 5 April 2022 This Order is being introduced because of site investigation work including geotechnical boreholes which is anticipated to be completed 21 April 2022. This will operate between 22:00 and 05:00hours. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the on/off slip road off the A423 ring road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. The alternative route for traffic is via the A34 Hinksey roundabout and the Kennington eastbound slip road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9994/AC)

Sutton Courtenay - Bridleway & Footpath Closure Date of Order: 21 February 2022 Coming into force: 01 March 2022 This Order is being introduced because overhead electricity line refurbishment between Cowley and Didcot which is anticipated to be completed by 15 July 2022. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Goring, Goring Lock (Thames Path) RG8 9AE Date of Order: 28 March 2022 Coming into force: 4 April 2022 This Order is being introduced because of replacement of 200 metres of towpath surface to a non-slip material by the Environment Agency which is anticipated to take three months to be completed. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Goring Lock (Thames Path) at RG8 9AE. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of Goring Lock. The alternative routes for this closure is from the bridge continue along the High Street towards the village centre - then turn right along Manor Road following the public footpath past the Rectory Gardens - continue to right turn down Ferry Lane (opposite the John Barleycorn pub) - continue down Ferry Lane - then over the grass (Ferry Lane Open Space) to re-join the Thames Path. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. (Ref. T9901/MR)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Wallingford, Footpath Nos. 27 & 28 Closure Date of Order: 11 April 2022 Coming into force: 18 April 2022
This Order is being introduced because of footpath improvement works which are anticipated to be completed end of June 2022. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath Nos. 27 & 28 which run either side of the A4130 Bosley Way. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route is via Calvin Thomas Way, Fir Tree Avenue, FP.16, Queens Avenue, Wantage Road, FP.16 Brightwell-cum-Sotwell and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9214/AC)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) & (7) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Thame, Rycote Lane

30 mph Speed Limit Date of Order: 28 March 2022 Coming into force: 31 March 2022 This Order is being introduced because of construction works for access to a new industrial unit which is anticipated to take 10 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in excess of 30mph along Rycote Lane southwards from the A418 Oxford Road roundabout. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The relevant part of the Oxfordshire County Council (Thame and Various Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 2011 (50mph) is suspended for the duration of the works). This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
