TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (NYMPSFIELD, COALEY AND ULEY PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing 4th April 2022, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure is in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closure taking effect. This order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 25th April 2022. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road and emergency access will be maintained.

PUBLIC NOTICE GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (VARIOUS ROADS, NAILSWORTH) (STROUD DISTRICT) ORDER 2022
Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to make the above-named order the effect of which will be:
1) To prohibit the driving of any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20mph on various roads in Nailsworth Town.
2) To revoke the existing Gloucestershire County Council (Various Roads Within Nailsworth) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2010 and include the publically maintainable roads cited within it within this new Order.
The extents of the proposed 20mph speed limit are shown in the Schedule below:
The lengths of roads fall within Nailsworth Town within the Stroud District in the County of Gloucestershire.

Any objections or representations to the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to Traffic Regulation Orders Ltd, ADL House, Oaklands Business Park, Armstrong Way, Yate, BS37 5NA or emailed to wc@troltd.co.uk no later than the 27th April 2022. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 400872 CHURCH VIEW BUNGALOW TO WAR MEMORIAL (BRIMPSFIELD PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 400872
Church View Bungalow to War Memorial Brimpsfield from outside the property |
known as Sidelands Farm to outside the property known as Leverets Barn for
a distance of approximately 280 metres.
The reason for the closure is for a water pipe repair.
The road is expected to be closed from the 18th April 2022 until the
20th April 2022 only or until the works have been completed. For further

Alternative Route - as signed on site.
Pedestrian access will be maintained. Emergency access will not be
maintained as the excavation will take place in the middle of a narrow lane.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH MTH 24 (BRIMSCOMBE AND THRUPP PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has further extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath MTH 24 from its junction with the A419, London Road extending in a generally southerly direction for approximately 145 metres to its junction with Port Lane. The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst demolition and construction works take place.
This temporary closure Order came into force on the 25th October 2021 and was expected to end on the 24th April 2022. However, the works have still not been completed and the Secretary of State has granted an extension until 25th October 2022 or until the works are complete, whichever is earliest. Alternative Route - via London Road, Public Footpath MTH 22, Brimscombe Hill and Port Lane as shown on the order plan.
Pedestrian access to properties and emergency access will be maintained for the duration of the works.
