(Footpath 22, Stow Maries) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 22, Stow Maries in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 120 metres east of footpath 34. Following the raised clay flood embankment in an east, then north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 250 metres. Then westerly for a distance of approximately 250 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21/03/2022 to 19/08/2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are carried out to repair the flood defences.
The alternative route will be via Footpath 22, over the Clements Green Creek using the unnamed path. Then northerly using footpath 34 by the Air Cadet Squadron Headquarters to the junction with the unnamed footpath, south-east and adjacent to Compass Gardens. Proceed in an easterly direction to join footpath 22.
The Order will come into effect on 21/03/2022 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Burnham Road, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burnham Road, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Fambridge Road for a distance of approximately 165m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA54507693A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Fambridge Road, Cold Norton Road, Maldon Road, Burnham Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Kelvedon Road, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kelvedon Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 80m north of its junction with Walden House Road for a distance of approximately 115m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA54238155 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Kelvedon Road, Great Totham Road, Walden House Road, Goat Lodge Road, Beacon Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(St Stephens Road, Cold Norton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Stephens Road, Cold Norton in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Latchingdon Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th April 2022 for 13 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30010521683 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable upgrade works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Latchingdon Road, Fambridge Road and vice versa (with access only into St Stephens Road).
The Order came into effect on 24th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Tolleshunt D'arcy Road, Tolleshunt Major) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tolleshunt D'arcy Road, Tolleshunt Major in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Witham Road for a distance of approximately 185m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th April 2022 for 2 days (followed by 2 way lights for 5 days), or where stated on a valid permit (EC30030686615 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via School Road, The Street, Loamy Hill Road, Maldon Road, Station Road, Factory Hill, Brook Road, D'arcy Road, Oxley Hill, Kelvedon Road, North Street, South Street, Church Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
