Colchester Town Centre Various Restrictions
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends to make the following Orders under sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, as detailed below:

Prohibition of motor vehicles except buses, taxis, blue badge holders, solo motorcycles, and access:-
High Street
From its junction with Head Street to its junction with Museum Street

No Entry
West Stockwell Street
At its junction with High Street
East Stockwell Street
At its junction with High Street
George Street
At its junction with High Street with an exemption for access to premises in first 60 metres
Maidenburgh Street
At its junction with High Street

Revocation of existing restrictions
West Stockwell Street
One way restriction (Quakers Alley to Stockwell Street)
East Stockwell Street
Prohibition of driving north of its junction with William's Walk
Maidenburgh Street
Prohibition of driving north of its junction with William's Walk & north of its junction with St Helen's Lane
Maidenburgh Street
One way restriction
George Street
One way restriction
