Wrexham County Borough Council has made a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 28/03/22 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of un-named lane from B4500 Heber Gate to adjacent Yew Tree Cottage, Oswestry from outside Greystone Cottage in a W. direction for a distance of 60m to outside Moss Bank to enable Severn Trent Water Ltd to excavate trial holes to locate existing excavate pits and directional drill, lay and connect services and carry out connections to existing mains.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via B4500, B5070 and Station Road and will be signposted. Access for pedestrians will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The prohibition is expected to last for 35 working days or until completion of
the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
